Jenny Packham RTW Fall 2013

Oh, the sheer loveliness! Jenny Packham's fall 2013 show is full of sumptuous, opulent dresses that look as though they're straight out of a dream or a fairytale. Honestly, all the beautiful embellishment is just so exquisite, I mean can you image wearing one of these? Heaven!

The hair and makeup is also gorgeous; really lovely and light and fresh

Karen Walker RTW Fall 2013

The two things I love most from Karen Walker's collection; the sweaters and the prints.
The sweaters looked chic in a very comfortable slouchy way that I really love, and the prints are a modern sort of florally kind of thing (sorry for all those highly technical terms). I adore the white sweater with the rose print but my favourite look is probably the olive sweater over the black and white printed dress.

Marchesa RTW Fall 2013

Okay, I've got a thing for lavish evening wear. So sue me.
Marchesa's fall 2013 collection is full of fantastically detailed dresses; the embroidery is what really gets me. I mean, can you say opulent? The tiered cream dress is probably my favourite, though it's hard to pick just one.

Nanette Lepore RTW Fall 2013

Here's a quick look at Nanette Lepore's show at New York Fashion Week.
I love the first two beaded lace pieces, and I think there are also some lovely shapes in the collection; interesting necklines, a few sneaky cut-out details, and some lovely hemlines.
The collection is inspired by images from the Mars Rover, and there are a couple of nice prints which Lepore created using digital prints of slices of the earth. Not quite sure what that's all about, but they certainly came out nicely.

Juicy Couture RTW Fall 2013

I've been perusing some of the fashion shows at this year's fall New York Fashion Week (online, of course, unfortunately)

The Juicy Couture show has a lot of really fun pieces; I especially like the combination of strips and florals. Anywho, here's a few of my favourite looks:
