currently coveting: Converse All Stars

I've been coveting them for quite a while, actually. I've always loved them but I've never gotten a pair, so I might have to remedy that (it is autumn, going into winter here in Australia, so it makes since right?)

The problem is, or course, that there are so many different types, even just in the Chuck Taylors! A quick look through the converse australia website turned up well over 10 pairs that I would quite happily own, which is unfortunately a little unrealistic, budget-wise.
Oh well, a girl can dream, right?

There are the classic Hi-tops, in a variety of colours

The classic Lo version, which I absolutely love in the white.

Then there's the Lo Light and the Lo Dainty, which sound very appealingly slimline

There's these two really sweet patterned ones (I love the wilderness print ones!)

And these cool leather ones, too.

currently coveting: shoes

I have an admission to make; I have a slight obsession with shoes.
I've always thought that in a backwards kind of way perhaps this comes from having troublesomely large feet, which puts shoe shopping in a special category of hell. But then I'm hardly alone in a love of footwear, am I?
Anywho, it's a lot of fun browsing shoes online, and for once that bank account of mine is doing me a favour by keeping me safe from having to consider whether they'd fit, ha!

Window-browsing online is highly dangerous. It can lead to all sort of troublesome fantasies about buying the beautiful evening dress that you have no use for and can't afford. Indeed, there's really nothing to stop you wasting away hours looking at clothes that are way too expensive to ever buy.
Case in point; I've just found a few items from net-a-porter that are beyond lovely, but are, sadly, also beyond my budget. But alas, I'll suffer through somehow.

*Note: Most of the items don't have links because when I went back to net-a-porter I couldn't find the items anyway in the store.
