in my acutal wardrobe... At the Josh Groban concert

I went to see Josh Groban's concert in Adelaide last week ( it was amazing!) and unusually for me I left planning my outfit until the last minute. Also, the little street that we took these photos in was relatively busy, so I was pretty freaked out the entire time., haha!

currently coveting: Converse All Stars

I've been coveting them for quite a while, actually. I've always loved them but I've never gotten a pair, so I might have to remedy that (it is autumn, going into winter here in Australia, so it makes since right?)

The problem is, or course, that there are so many different types, even just in the Chuck Taylors! A quick look through the converse australia website turned up well over 10 pairs that I would quite happily own, which is unfortunately a little unrealistic, budget-wise.
Oh well, a girl can dream, right?

There are the classic Hi-tops, in a variety of colours

The classic Lo version, which I absolutely love in the white.

Then there's the Lo Light and the Lo Dainty, which sound very appealingly slimline

There's these two really sweet patterned ones (I love the wilderness print ones!)

And these cool leather ones, too.

Spring wedding shoot at Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse

Gloriously beautiful shoot by KT Merry, who teamed with Joy de Vivre and Kelly Kaufman Design to create this wonderful editorial at Figueroa Mountain Farmhouse, in Santa Ynez, California.
I love just about everything in this shoot, in particular the florals, which are so fresh and vibrant, and really embody spring in all its loveliness.

The Animal Nursery

I love this cool editorial in the May edition of  Harper's BAZAAR Australia.
Gorgeous, old-world glamour styling, and cute baby animals? There is no way that this could be anything but a winner. The story is by Harper's global fashion director Carine Roitfeld, photographed stunningly by Sebastian Faena.
Here are a few of the shots, but I have to say it looks even better printed in the magazine.

in my actual wardrobe...

I had a super busy weekend. It was the annual Folk Fair, which is a pretty big deal here in our little town.
It also means that, being situated diagonally opposite the fair, we get pretty swamped in the shop. And, of course, what did I go and do? Only sliced through a chunk of skin on the bottom of my foot (hence the thongs). Yeah, not fun, but it wasn't that bad in the end. Anyway, I think I'm rambling here so we'll skip right to the photos;

(By the way, I'm on Look Book now! Check it out here)

in my actual wardrobe...

Last Sunday, we (the Laura Soap and Gift Shoppe team) went to the Wirrabara Producers Market. We go every market to shop anyway, but this was our first time as stall holders.
How did the day go? Pretty well, all in all. We got there just before 7am, which is pretty dark thanks to daylight savings, to set up. It rained and poured intermittently, but there was still a pretty decent crowd. It was also quite cold.
Cue comfy cardigan!
